Please read these terms before using our business services. In particular, review the provisions on contract formation, chemical safety and liability. Your statutory rights and the terms of an agreed transaction remain protected.
Operator & scope
This website is operated by Hangzhou Hongkun Import & Export Co., Ltd. (“Hongkun”, “we”, “us”). Hongkun Chemicals is our chemicals division and brand, not a separate contracting entity. These terms describe the conditions for professional use of our website, product information, inquiry channels and supplier registration.
A separately agreed sales contract, purchase order accepted by the parties, quality agreement or confidentiality agreement governs its own subject matter and takes precedence over conflicting general website terms. Mandatory law always applies. Our Privacy Policy explains personal information processing; it is not blanket consent to that processing.
Authorized business use
Use the website for lawful business purposes and act within your authority when representing a company. Submit accurate, relevant information and promptly correct material errors. Do not impersonate another person, upload malware, bypass security, overload services or collect personal information unlawfully. Reasonable browsing and indexing consistent with applicable law and site access rules are not prohibited by this clause.
Product & technical information
Catalog entries, CAS numbers, structures, descriptions, indicative specifications, images and availability references support initial sourcing discussions. They do not by themselves constitute a binding offer, confirmed specification, regulatory approval or suitability guarantee.
Before placing an order, confirm product identity, grade, specification, intended application and documentation in writing with us. A batch COA records the stated tests for that batch; it does not replace an SDS, agreed acceptance criteria or your application-specific assessment. Please report suspected errors so they can be reviewed.
Inquiries, quotations & contracts
Submitting an inquiry, requesting a document or receiving an automated receipt does not itself place or accept an order. A transaction becomes binding when the parties conclude a contract in accordance with applicable law and their agreed acceptance process. Electronic written communications may form part of that process.
Confirm price and currency, specification, quantity, quotation validity, payment, inspection and claims procedure, delivery, risk transfer and any agreed Incoterms rule and edition in the transaction documents. Before contract formation, we may decline a request for legitimate capacity, safety, compliance or commercial reasons.
Accepted orders remain governed by their contract. These website terms do not give either party an unrestricted right to cancel, reprice or change an existing contract. Changes, suspension or termination must follow the contract and applicable law.
Chemical safety & lawful trade
Chemicals require competent assessment and appropriate handling. Before transport, storage, processing or use, obtain and review the relevant SDS and agreed technical documentation, and ensure qualified personnel, facilities, protective measures and emergency procedures are appropriate to the material.
Each party remains responsible for legal duties applicable to its role, including product safety, hazard communication, import/export controls, licensing, customs, transport and environmental requirements. Buyers must disclose relevant destination and intended-use information and verify authorization for their use. A catalog listing does not confirm permission for pharmaceutical, food, consumer, clinical or other regulated applications.
We may request end-use or qualification information and decline unlawful transactions. Nothing in these terms transfers Hongkun's mandatory supplier, exporter or safety obligations to the buyer.
Supplier registration & review
Registration is an invitation for evaluation and does not guarantee approval, exclusivity, requests for quotation or purchase orders. Suppliers must have authority to provide the submitted materials, accurately describe their capabilities and qualifications, and notify us of material changes. Any onboarding requirements and supply obligations must be separately confirmed.
ChemsFlow or other internal comparisons support staff review and do not independently certify a supplier, batch, production facility or regulatory status.
Website content & permitted use
Website materials are owned by Hongkun or their respective rights holders. You may view, print and share reasonable extracts internally for legitimate evaluation or procurement, retaining ownership and safety notices. Other reproduction, republication or commercial exploitation requires permission unless permitted by law. Third-party names and marks remain their owners' property and do not imply endorsement.
You retain rights in materials you submit. Submission permits us to use them only as necessary to assess and respond to your request, coordinate the relevant service and meet legal obligations, subject to applicable privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Confidential business information
Each party should protect information identified as confidential or reasonably understood to be confidential from its nature and context. Use or disclosure should be limited to the relevant business purpose and persons who need it, subject to appropriate obligations. Information already public without a breach, lawfully obtained independently or independently developed is not confidential on that basis.
Disclosure required by law is permitted to the necessary extent, with notice where lawful. Agree a separate NDA before sharing highly sensitive formulas, processes or trade secrets. Any signed confidentiality agreement governs its scope.
External links & services
External links, including messaging platforms and technical references, are provided for convenience. Their providers control their own content and services. Review their terms and privacy notices before using them. A link does not itself establish endorsement or shift responsibility for Hongkun's own actions to a third party.
Availability & corrections
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, security or circumstances beyond reasonable control, and general content may contain errors. Verify transaction-critical information directly with us. Any website availability or informational disclaimer is subject to mandatory law and does not override an express contractual commitment or required safety disclosure.
Responsibility & legal limits
Responsibility for loss is determined by applicable law and any governing contract, taking account of fault, causation, foreseeability and reasonable steps to limit loss where relevant. A party responsible for unlawful website misuse may be required to compensate proven loss to the extent provided by law; these terms do not impose an unlimited indemnity or liability for another party's fault.
No exclusion of non-excludable liability. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for personal injury, property loss caused intentionally or by gross negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing waives mandatory personal information rights, product-safety duties or remedies. We do not claim a blanket exemption from all direct or indirect loss.
Access restrictions
We may restrict access or reject abusive submissions where reasonably necessary to address security threats, unlawful conduct or material misuse. Measures should be proportionate and, where practicable and lawful, explained to affected users. Contact us if you believe access was restricted in error. An access restriction does not itself cancel a concluded contract or extinguish accrued rights.
Applicable law & disputes
These website terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China applicable in mainland China, subject to mandatory rules and applicable conflict-of-law requirements. A separate transaction agreement may provide its own governing law and dispute procedure.
Please contact us first to seek a practical resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved, either party may refer it to a court with jurisdiction under applicable law, unless a valid agreement provides another procedure. Contacting us first is not a condition that prevents urgent relief, statutory complaints or timely legal action. We can explain any term that materially affects your interests on request.
Updates & interpretation
Revisions will appear on this page with an updated date. Material changes require appropriate notice and any acceptance required by law; continued browsing alone does not replace legally required agreement. Revisions do not retrospectively change existing contracts. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent lawful; no provision overrides a mandatory right.
English and Simplified Chinese versions are provided for reading convenience. Any discrepancy must be resolved according to applicable law and the parties' actual agreement, without reducing mandatory protections.
