Sourcing Synthesis Reagents & Protecting-group Chemistry

Organic building blocks are evaluated against the chemistry and quality requirements of the receiving process. Specify the exact molecular form and analytical acceptance criteria to make the sourcing discussion useful from the first enquiry.

For synthesis and protecting-group reagents, define the exact reagent form, active-content basis and handling information needed by the receiving laboratory or plant.

Include in your enquiry

  • CAS, substitution pattern, molecular form and intended use
  • Required assay, water content and relevant impurity limits
  • Sample or bulk quantity, packaging preference and requested documents

How to prepare an enquiry

03 / Better enquiries, clearer decisions

A useful enquiry starts with the right details.

Whether you are evaluating a synthetic building block or planning an industrial purchase, a shared specification helps both teams assess the same material.

Prepare my enquiry
01

Define the material

Include the CAS number, chemical name and intended use. Specify an isomer, salt or hydrate form when it is relevant to your process.

02

Set the quality requirements

Share your target assay, test method and limits for critical impurities, water or residual solvents. Attach your specification if available.

03

Plan the supply request

State the quantity, preferred packaging, destination and required delivery date. Ask for the quotation and supporting documents to be reviewed together.

04 / Sourcing questions

Before you enquire.

How do I find a chemical by CAS number?

Enter the CAS number in the catalogue search. You can also search by English or Chinese name, synonyms or molecular formula where recorded. Open the product detail page to check its identity and category before sending an enquiry.

Does a catalogue listing mean the material is in stock?

A catalogue entry identifies a material within our sourcing portfolio. Availability, price, minimum order quantity, grade and delivery schedule are confirmed for each enquiry. The catalogue does not publish live stock or a fixed commercial offer.

Can I request a COA, SDS or specification?

List the documents required by your team when submitting an enquiry. Ask for the current safety data sheet, a suitable specification and relevant analytical evidence. Document availability and the applicable batch must be confirmed for the proposed supply.

What if I cannot find my product?

Send a sourcing enquiry with the product name, CAS number and target quantity. Include the intended application and any essential quality requirements so that the team can assess your request.
